Salman Khan attended the 15th Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, and opened up about the treatment of people from various religious backgrounds in the film industry.
The Bajrangi Bhaijaan said “My mother’s Hindu, my father’s Muslim, I call myself insaan; human being.”
The actor also added “The spot boy to the light man, to the heroes to the heroine to the directors to the producers, nobody feels like that (unequal), everyone works together – Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, there is nothing, no feeling of superiority or inferiority.”
He later said “Even the spot boy, the drivers, the electricians, everyone has been given that utmost amount of respect.”
Well that is a very noble thing to say Salman. Everyone should be treated with respect, and no one should be discriminated on any sort of grounds. Specially in workplace, everyone should be treated equally!
The Sultan star is busy promoting his upcoming film Tiger Zinda Hai with Katrina Kaif, which is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar under the YRF banner.
