Salman Khan’s character will not be ‘macho’ in Bharat!

Salman Khan will be seen in a very different avatar in his upcoming film ‘Bharat’. The film will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, he has given 2 hit films, Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai with Salman. Both are the members of Bollywood’s 300 Crore Club.

Ali Abbas said, “There is a secret method of working with Salman, and I will keep that information to myself. The face of Indian cinema is changing and you need to make a statement with every film. One must be open to experimenting with genres instead of sticking to one”

He also added, ” exaggerated machismo becomes ‘redundant’ and highlighting Salman Khan’s other side is essential for his character in Bharat. To keep up with the current landscape, it is important to keep rediscovering the superstar that Salman Khan is. It is imperative that as a writer, I give him the material that enables him to discover new dimensions while portraying his character”.

Bharat will be the Hindi remake of the 2014 Korean film ‘Ode To My Father’. It was Salman who suggested Ali to adapt the film in Hindi.
