After the recent event of armed men reaching the set of Race 3 and stalling the film’s shoot, Salim Khan, Salman Khan’s father has confirmed that Salman has been receiving death threats from the Rajasthan gangster.
When Salman Khan was in Jodhpur appearing in court for the Black Buck Hunting case, Lawrence Bishnoi a gangster from Rajasthan gave an open death threat, “Salman Khan will be killed here, in Jodhpur…Then he will come to know about our real identity,” Bishnoi said.
Salman Khan returned to Mumbai after the hearing and resumed shooting for Race 3, but the threats continued. Confirming the news of threats, Salman’s father Salim Khan said, “While I don’t know the exact details about when he left the sets, I do know that there were some threats. But Salman has a good team of security personnel. This is not the first time that he is getting such threats. In this industry, people keep getting such threats a lot.”
When asked whether they will take any legal action against Bishnoi he said, “The only action we are taking is to make sure that Salman is safe. He is going for the shoots normally as of now”.
