Ekta Kapoor Shows Which Were Successful And Did Not Start With ‘K’!

Bollywood loves the alphabet ‘K’! If the ‘K’ factor is added to the name of a film, tv show or even a person’s name then it is going to get success for sure. Just like Karan Johar on the big screen, Ekta Kapoor likes to start the names of her shows with ‘K’. But here are some shows which were successful but did not have the ‘K’ factor!

Pavitra Rishta

Pavitra Rishta is one of Ekta’s most loved soap opera on Indian Television. So much that the extremely talented Sushant Singh is now seen in Bollywood. It ran from 2009 to 2014 on Zee Tv.



Yeh Hai Mohabbatein

Ye Hai Mohabbatein has had the highest telly-rating points ever since it aired in 2013. The story of a single parent Raman and a caring neighbour Ishita who loves his daughter Ruhi was received very well by the audience.




Jodha Akbar

The historical fiction drama, Jodha Akbar, starring Rajat Tokas and Paridhi Sharma premiered in 2013. Despite all the criticism by historian, the show garnered hell lot of love on Zee TV.



Hum Paanch

The very first and oldest comedy sitcom by Ekta Kapoor that aired in 1995 and ran until 1999. The show made people laugh so much that it was ranked as the top comedy show on Indian television.



Bade Acche Lagte Hain

The Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar starrer show ran from 2011 to 2014. The show received a lot of appreciation and also made Ekta win the Best Producer award.



Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi

The cutest love story starring Shakti Arora and Radhika Mandhan aired on Colors TV in 2014. The show was inspired from a literary classic, Wuthering Heights written by Emily Bronte.




The show which is till date a super hit has been running since 2015 with a cast of Mouni Roy, Anita Hassanandani Reddy, Adda Khan, Arjun Bijlani and so many other actors throughout all the 3 seasons.
